a 3d wooden puzzle for Benaki Museum

We were asked by the Benaki Museum to design something for the gift shop of the Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Ghika Gallery.The design should be based on the work of this famous Greek painter. We came up with a wooden puzzle that’s based on a small sketch made by the artist.

Their home is the most impossible places, but at the same time, they could find our own calm tempered environment deadly.”

We were asked by the good people of Psarokokalo film festival, to design an Audience Award for 2011. We ended up with a fishtail-like design ( “psarokokalo” is greek for fishbone) and we produced it, using 3d printing.

catalogue

Bilingual (GR/EN) wholesale catalogue, for Centro kitchen and kitchen asseccories. We had to organise a huge ammount of data (codes, dimentions, technical specs, prices etc) and then present it in a simple and comprehensible way. We also painted some 13 watercolor paintings, depicting things that exist or happen on the kitchen worktop. The loose style of these paintings makes a nice contrast with the strict and technical content of the catalogue.

Ancient Greece

graphic and product design for Ancient Greece art-show

A poster, pins, ice-cream molds and a pillow-column for the “ancient greece” show at K44 (Athens, GR). A variety of things were designed for our participation in “ancient greece” show. Our main idea was to mix various items, taken from various historical eras and point out the vagueness of the term. The pins and the ice-cream mold were given as gifts to the visitors.

The concept was to design a traditional greek “tavern” (tsipouradiko in greek). Our client’s main concern was, instead of promoting their products, to provide a relaxing place for visitors to drink, have a treat (and even dance).

Window displays for Hermes shop

3d objects for Hermes shop Bahrain

A total of 4 large window displays and 3 smaller jewelry cases were designed. Many faces of the 3-dimensional objects were covered with lenticular-lence panels in order to give the illusion of depth and animation. The illustration for this project was assigned to us by Socratis Socratous (you can check his website for photos of the installation).

Paphos Airport

large scale illustration for Paphos Airport

Illustrations for the baggage-reclaim-hall at the airport of Paphos (CY). Two large illustrations were designed. They measure 68x4m and 5,5x4m and are printed on lenticular lence panels in order to give the illusion of depth and animation. The illustration for this project was assigned to us by Socratis Socratous who also was responsible for the general concept and overall feeling (you can check his website for more photos of the installation). Alltogether we designed around 120 elements and 35 of them had animated frames. The whole illustration can be seen here.

brand identity and packaging for citty litter

We were called , by Geohellas S.A., to design and develop an eco-friendly kitty liter brand. We came out with the name “who cares” and then designed the logo and packaging.

It comes in three variations (natural, clumping and levanter aroma) and is distributed in 13 countries.
